A local fundraiser donated over £1000 to the Haven Team (part of the Care Plus Group Charitable Trust) raised through running two marathons in two days whilst supporting a blind runner around the course.
Paul Hansen from Cleethorpes chose to raise funds for The Haven Team in memory of a family member who was cared for by the team. He described running the marathon as easy compared to the work the Haven Team do.
The marathons, which took place in November 2016, were his 98th and 99th marathons.
