Meet The Trustees

I started my career back in 1982, where I did my nurse training in Sheffield, I then took a different career path in to the Licence Trade and spent 20years as a publican, managing very busy pubs and clubs in the South of England, in that time I still worked in health and social care from time to time, Managing Leonard Cheshire, Domiciliary care and various other Health and Social care roles, in that time I have gained a wealth of experience in communities and the public domain.

I initially was employed by the Local Authority under the Community Care Directorate until I joined the Care Trust Plus in 2006 and then on to the Care Plus Group from 2011, when we started as a social enterprise I became the vice chair of what then was then the Staff Advisory with Mr Paul Watson as the Chair, I then went on to be elected as the Chair of the Staff Voice for Care Plus Group. I have also managed the Collaborative in my present role for over 16 years and community cohesion supporting local agencies and groups in North East Lincolnshire.
