About Me
I’m passionate about Health and Social Care, having spent 46 years of my life working within various healthcare settings.
I was delighted to be invited to be a Trustee of the Charitable Trust in 2016 and although I retired from my post as Health and Well-being Collaborative Programme Manager in 2018, I have been able to continue in the role as Trustee.
My experience of working with many volunteers has provided me with a good insight into community engagement and the fundamental skill of ‘understanding the need’ of local communities.
Why I am a Trustee
I joined Care Plus Group at its inception in 2011 and it has been a privilege to be able to be a charity trustee for the last five years.
There is nothing more rewarding than being able to award grants to communities and individuals so that they can fulfil their aspirations.
