About Me
I have worked in community services since 1993 firstly as a Community District Nurse then as a Specialist Palliative Care Nurse. My present role is the manager of the Macmillan Living with & beyond Cancer Team.
Why I am a Trustee
I have been keen to become a trustee for a while due to making many applications to benefit the Living with and beyond cancer service and the patients who access the service. I have seen how the charitable trust grants can make a real difference to patients enhancing and supporting them at a difficult time in their lives. I have an interest in how charitable funds are utilised by other services and keen to promote how the funds have been used to help people in the community.
